About The Position

The Service Manager – Forestry Division will lead the Graham, NC service operations, overseeing customer support, technical service, and maintenance for forestry equipment. This role is responsible for managing a team of service technicians, ensuring timely and high-quality repairs, building strong customer relationships, and driving continuous improvement in service delivery.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of experience in service management, in heavy equipment, forestry, or manufacturing industries.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in service management, in heavy equipment, forestry, or manufacturing industries.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong technical knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with service management software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for customer support and training.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, train, and develop service technicians to deliver top-tier service and support.
  • Manage daily operations of the service center, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and productivity standards.
  • Schedule, assign, and monitor service work orders to meet customer deadlines.
  • Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting support for forestry products and equipment.
  • Oversee warranty claims, parts coordination, and service documentation.
  • Collaborate with sales and product teams to resolve customer concerns and enhance product performance.
  • Ensure compliance with all OSHA, DOT, and company safety requirements.
  • Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs), including service response times, customer satisfaction, and financial performance.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to foster repeat business and long-term partnerships.
