About The Position

As a Service Manager on the Performance Management team at LINK, you will serve as a hands-on maintenance professional responsible for completing a wide variety of service requests and supporting the overall maintenance operations of an assigned multi-family apartment community. This role is essential to ensuring apartment homes are move-in ready and that the community is maintained to the highest standards. Requirements

  • At least 3 years of maintenance and repair experience in residential, commercial, or retail property management
  • Strong hands-on experience with HVAC systems, appliances, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs
  • HVAC certification is required
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Valid, unrestricted driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to work on-call as needed for emergency maintenance situations
  • Ability to sit, stand, climb, balance, stoop, crouch, crawl, and lift up to 50 lbs as part of daily responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Complete service requests and maintenance work orders in a timely and professional manner
  • Perform HVAC troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance
  • Assist with the make-ready process to ensure units are ready for new residents
  • Maintain the overall appearance and functionality of the community, including common areas and grounds
  • Identify maintenance concerns and proactively address potential issues
  • Coordinate with vendors and assist with external maintenance work as needed
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company standards, safety protocols, and applicable regulations
  • Participate in the on-call rotation and respond to emergency maintenance needs as required
