About The Position

Renn Kirby Gettysburg is seeking an experienced and motivated Automotive Service Manager to lead our service department. This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, driving departmental profitability, and managing a high-performing team of technicians and advisors.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in an automotive service management role
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills
  • Proven track record of driving service department performance and profitability
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Familiarity with dealership management systems (DMS)
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver’s license

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with OEM service standards
  • ASE certification or equivalent experience
  • Prior dealership experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all service department operations, including scheduling, workflow, and productivity
  • Lead, mentor, and develop service advisors and technicians
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and handle escalated customer concerns professionally
  • Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as labor sales, efficiency, and CSI scores
  • Maintain compliance with manufacturer standards and company policies
  • Oversee warranty administration and ensure accurate documentation
  • Collaborate with parts and sales departments to maximize overall dealership performance
  • Implement and maintain effective processes to improve efficiency and profitability
