Columbus Equipment Company is offering attractive benefit packages and compelling career tracks to those in search of a position within our company including, but not limited to: Health dental and vision insurance 401K Vacation and PTO STD, Life, and Disability Insurance Paid Holidays Tailored Training Tuition Assistance/Reimbursement Succession Pathway Responsibilities and Duties The Service Manager is responsible for customer satisfaction and overall profitability within the service department's areas of responsibility Communicates with customers and ethically resolves disputes keeping the customer and company's interest in mind Responsible for timely paperwork flow keeping work in process as low as possible Provides timely and accurate invoices to customers with the assistance of service team members Responsible for the human resources within the department, with a focus of maintaining a high level of technician productivity, efficiency, and safety Recommends and oversees replacement and repair of internal physical assets

Requirements

  • High school diploma, college, and/or tech school helpful
  • Three or more years of experience with earth moving equipment parts and service in a customer contact position.
  • Candidate must have proven track record in customer satisfaction
  • Strong leadership and coaching abilities
  • Positive attitude, problem solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications
  • Candidate must be highly motivated and be able to work well in a team environment
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Must be able to pass a Pre-Employment Criminal Background screening and DOT Drug Test
