About The Position

Acento Real Estate Partners is seeking a proactive and experienced Service Manager to oversee all maintenance operations and lead their on-site service team. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives on team collaboration, attention to detail, and delivering exceptional results. Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in property maintenance including HVAC, electrical, carpentry, plumbing, and appliance repair
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience leading maintenance teams
  • Proficiency in Onesite, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Professional appearance and a high level of integrity
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and customer service focus

Nice To Haves

  • EPA/HVAC Universal Certification strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate day-to-day maintenance tasks, assigning work orders and ensuring timely, high-quality completion.
  • Manage and mentor the on-site maintenance team, fostering a positive, professional, and efficient working environment.
  • Ensure all building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, and painting) are well-maintained and fully operational.
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of service requests, preventative maintenance, parts orders, and vendor coordination.
  • Manage shift schedules, recruit new maintenance personnel as needed, and support training and onboarding efforts.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with residents regarding service timelines and updates.
