About The Position

Waxahachie Nissan is seeking an experienced Service Manager for our busy, growing Service Department. Candidates must have automotive dealership experience. Nissan experience is preferred. The right candidate will have a stable work history and have a passion for the automotive industry. The Service Manager will focus on making customer satisfaction the priority for our individual and commercial fleet accounts, throughout all levels of our service department personnel.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the overall production of timely vehicle repairs and serves as the main support for Service Advisors and Auto Technicians.
Manage and hire technicians, service advisors, and support personnel.
Solve problems and meet predetermined services and sales objectives.
Directly supervise service department personnel; carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with policies and procedures.
Uphold and maintain company and manufacturer policies and procedures.
Ensure proper processes are executed to evaluate, up-sell work that generates revenue, communicate clearly with customers, explains vehicle maintenance services as well as auto repair, develops estimates and quotes, focuses on customer satisfaction.
Generate repeat customers and provide resolutions of customer complaints.
Hire, train and motivate employees in the Service Department.
Create work schedules and maintain proper accounting of Service Technicians' productivity.
Act as lead liaison from the Service Department to all other dealership departments.
Oversee Employee training and development.
