About The Position

Temp Right Service is the premier provider of heating, air conditioning, geothermal, ventilation, refrigeration, plumbing, controls and indoor air quality services in Western Montana. We are looking for a skilled and talented Service Manager to join our Kalispell, Montana team. Position Summary: The Service Department Manager is responsible for the business results for their assigned team and for the safety and supervision of service technicians who complete the repair and maintenance of mechanical comfort systems. Additionally, this role is responsible for coaching, counseling, and developing HVAC field technicians and apprentices as well as the financial performance of the department.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of modern leadership principles, emotional intelligence, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Technological proficiency to include Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent strategic planning and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficient in data analysis, using data to drive decision-making.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Results-driven and adaptable to change.
  • Passion for continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends and innovations.
  • Ability to stand, squat, bend, stoop and comfortably lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to pass full background screening and drug screening
  • Ability to pass MVR check
  • Ability to travel, as needed, for projects or training
  • Basic mechanical aptitude, mathematical and English language skills.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the business results for their assigned team.

  • Responsible for the financial performance of the department.
  • Conducts assessments and rewards and disciplines employees as necessary.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
  • Maintain a positive, cooperative and teachable attitude.
  • Comply with and promote company Safety Policy.
  • Other duties as assigned.
