The Hospital Medicine Service Line Representative, in partnership with the Service Line Director, Executive Medical Director and Medical Directors, provides a variety of operational and administrative support to the service line. The Hospital Medicine Service Line is comprised of approximately 150 employees in the Hospitalist, Pulmonary/Critical Care Medicine, Psychiatry and Transitional Health Departments, along with numerous external physician contractors. The Representative acts as the central processor for the service line regarding call outs, staffing needs, and census management, and serves as a contact and resource for the entire service line. The position requires proficient use of multiple software packages including EPIC, Lawson, Lightning Bolt, Kronos, Microsoft Office, Rapid Connect, Smart Web and others, as well as working knowledge of policies, procedures, and inpatient and outpatient business operations.
