Astin Aviation is seeking a self-directed, highly motivated, hands-on Line Service Manager to lead daily ramp operations, fuel quality control, and line service personnel at Easterwood Airport. This role works directly with and under the direction of the FBO Manager, serving as a key operational leader responsible for executing the standards, priorities, and expectations of the FBO. The Line Service Manager plays a critical role in maintaining a safe, efficient, and accountable ramp operation while supporting overall business objectives. The ideal candidates: Will have experience in a customer-focused FBO with safety and fueling certifications. Will have a proven background in working with the public. Seek to serve the airport's customers with the highest quality of customer service. Are open to new ideas and methods in the delivery of quality services. Exhibit ability to show initiative and accept responsibility within guidelines provided.

Requirements

  • High School degree and at least 18 years of age, college degree preferred.
  • Experience in airport FBO services is required.
  • Mentoring and supervision of others is preferred.
  • Must have good command of the English language, oral and written.
  • Excellent telephone and customer service skills.
  • Proficient in computer use and office software.
  • Experience in truck, tractor, or heavy vehicle operation is preferred.
  • Must maintain a valid State of Texas driver's license.
  • Must be physically able to climb ladders, lift moderate to heavy loads, push, pull, stoop, dig, utilize many different equipment configurations, and be outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Will utilize personal protective gear in a noisy outdoor environment.
  • Astin Aviation requires criminal background checks and drug screens for all post-offer candidates.

Nice To Haves

  • First Aid and/or firefighting training.
  • Fuel servicing (truck or pump), heavy truck driving, plus airport attendant duties and customer service-related employment.

Responsibilities

  • Marshals aircraft to parking areas.
  • Greets crews and passengers and provides excellent customer service.
  • Assists with baggage/cargo.
  • Accepts and documents fuel orders.
  • Provides into-plane service of petroleum products of the proper type and quantity.
  • Performs other aircraft services as required.
  • Operates and maintains auxiliary aircraft/airport equipment, i.e., fuel trucks, fuel tanks, Lektros, Kubotas and Eagle tugs, ground power units, and other equipment as necessary.
  • Repositions and hangars aircraft as required.
  • Works rotating shifts as necessary.
  • Facilitates regular team meetings, safety briefings, and team huddles.
  • Promotes safety in all activities.
  • Responsible for safe and efficient tasks within the authority vested through the airport owner and in compliance with the NFPA407, ATA 103, FAA 14CFR139, and 14CFR1540, 1542 regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned.
