About The Position

AirNet II is a renowned aviation leader and part of the Kalitta family of companies, specializing in scheduled and on-demand cargo charter services. The position will be based in Columbus, OH (LCK). Operating a fleet of Beechcraft Barons and Bombardier Learjets, AirNet II is a premier provider of industries that require immediate turn-time and specialized handling. Summary: Line Service is responsible for towing and fueling aircraft in a timely manner and providing excellent customer service to our customers.

Requirements

  • Candidate must pass a DOT/FAA pre-employment drug screen and a DOT/FAA compliant background check
  • Candidate should be motivated, resourceful, energetic, organized, and able to multi-task
  • Candidate must be reliable, punctual and honest
  • Candidate must be ethical, trustworthy, respectful, and maintain confidentiality with sensitive information
  • Candidate must be service oriented, able to work at a fast pace when required, and handle stressful issues well with a good attitude
  • Candidate must be able to work within a team-focused environment
  • Candidate must be able to be confident and articulate to communicate effectively, and have good communication skills

  • Must be at least 18 years of age and must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Candidate must have a High School Diploma or GED
  • A valid unrestricted driver’s license
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office computer systems
  • Must have jet experience
  • Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

  • Safe operation of fuel trucks, tugs, and other ground equipment
  • Safely work in a shop environment using tools and equipment as necessary
  • Safely marshalling and towing aircraft for parking, this includes wearing high-visibility vest or jackets when working in airside areas
  • Foreign Object Debris (FOD) prevention of hangar and ramp
  • Daily inspection of refueling trucks and other ground support equipment
  • Complete company assigned paperwork
  • Complete assigned tasks outdoors and in inclement weather if required
  • Document fueling activities as required
  • Fill fuel trucks at fuel farm
  • Basic housekeeping for hangar, hangar shops and hangar office spaces
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Additional tasks can and will be assigned by management
  • Basic preventive maintenance of ground support equipment
  • Comply with emergency response procedures for spills or other emergencies
  • Complete required training as assigned
  • Use basic computer skills to complete and document tasks
  • Work productively individually or with an assigned crew
  • Works with integrity and desire to maintain a high-quality standard
  • Report failures or deficiencies immediately
  • Pass background check and random drug testing
  • Overtime and/or weekend work may be required
