About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Landscape Mechanic (small engine and diesel tech) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of small engines and power equipment. Requirements

Strong knowledge of small engine repair, 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines, and power equipment systems
Ability to troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
Comfortable using a variety of shop tools, diagnostic software, and repair manuals
Excellent communication skills with a strong commitment to customer service
Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple work orders efficiently
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
1-3 years of hands-on experience in small engine repair or related field

Nice To Haves

Certification a plus
Prior experience as a Service Mechanic, Equipment Technician, or similar role preferred
Forklift operation experience is a plus – certification provided

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair small engines (2-stroke and 4-stroke)
Perform routine maintenance and tune-ups
Order and install replacement parts
Maintain shop organization, cleanliness, and safe working conditions
Provide excellent customer service and explain repairs clearly
Uphold a positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow within the mechanic team
Other duties as assigned by management
