About The Position

This role is responsible for ensuring all vehicles are properly fueled, fluids are topped off, and interiors are cleaned according to contract specifications. The attendant will also manage vehicle emergency equipment, document and report any fleet damage, and maintain the fuel island and surrounding work areas in compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations. Additional duties include assisting with shop cleaning, lot maintenance, posting notices in vehicles, and supporting the maintenance staff and manager as needed. Employment is contingent upon passing a drug and alcohol screening, a favorable background check, and a physical examination. Requirements

Must be over 21 years of age.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
Able to work without direct supervision.
Must be able to work in and outdoors in all weather conditions.
Handle basic maintenance, repairs and cleaning.
Ability to walk and stand for extended periods during shift.
Pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screen.
Receive a favorable background check.
Pass a physical examination.

Responsibilities

Fuel all vehicles and top off fluids.
Clean vehicle interiors according to contract specifications.
Ensure vehicle emergency equipment (fire extinguisher, body-fluid kit, first aid kit) is fully stocked and functional.
Document and communicate any fleet damage to the manager.
Maintain and keep the fuel island clean, containing and reporting any spills immediately.
Maintain the work area according to all OSHA and EPA regulations.
Clean, mop, and dispose of trash in the shop area daily.
Perform landscaping and lot cleaning and care as needed.
Post notices in vehicles as required by the client.
Assist maintenance staff and manager as needed.
