Group/Division The KLA Services team headquartered in Milpitas, CA is our service organization that consists of Service Sales and Marketing, Spares Supply Chain management, Field Operations, Engineering, Product Training, and Technical Support. The KLA Services organization partners with our field teams and customers in all business sectors to maintain the high performance and productivity of our products through a flexible portfolio of services. Our comprehensive services include: proactive management of tools to identify and improve performance; expertise in optics, image processing and motion control with worldwide service engineers, 24/7 technical support teams and knowledge management systems; and an extensive parts network to ensure worldwide availability of parts.

Requirements

  • Doctorate (Academic) Degree and 0 years related work experience; Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 3 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 5 years

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering or related discipline
  • Experience with service inventory planning systems such as Prophet by Baxter Planning, PTC SPM or equivalent
  • Hands‑on experience configuring or supporting forecasting, inventory optimization, or supply operations in a service environment
  • Experience translating business requirements into system logic, parameters, or configurations
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large data sets
  • Proficiency with Excel and analytical tools; experience with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools is a plus
  • Understanding of inventory planning concepts such as demand forecasting, inventory optimization, service levels, transactional automation and reporting

Responsibilities

  • System Configuration & Feature Management Configuration of planning parameters and business logic within the service inventory planning system related to demand forecasting, inventory optimization, replenishment and supply processes
  • Identify and document requirements for enhancements and work with internal and external teams to complete successful development and implementation
  • Evaluate the impact of configuration changes on downstream planning, execution, and reporting, and communicate impacts clearly to stakeholders
  • Business Analysis Perform ad hoc analytics using a variety of tools and data sources
  • Define and/or develop analytical tools in PowerBI and other data visualization technologies
  • Identify opportunities to enhance data reporting landscape
  • Testing, Validation & Continuous Improvement Design and execute functional testing for configuration changes, new features, and enhancements.
  • Validate planning outputs against business expectations and real‑world results.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify configurations, standardize logic, and improve system usability and scalability.
  • Documentation & Communication Maintain clear documentation of system configuration, planning logic, assumptions, and data design
  • Support knowledge transfer, training, and enablement for business users and partners
  • Act as a subject matter expert for the service inventory planning system
