Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of plumbing systems, pipe threading, hand and power tools, is helpful.
  • Ability to read basic blueprints or schematics accurately.
  • Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to installation tasks.
  • Strong teamwork mindset with excellent communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience or familiarity with construction site activities is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential.
  • Mechanical aptitude with an interest in plumbing or fire protection technology is a plus.
  • Prior experience in construction, plumbing or service is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
  • Previous handyman or remodeling experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing and fire protection systems using hand tools and power tools.
  • Support the setup and teardown of construction sites, including handling materials and assembling components according to schematics and blueprints.
  • Help with pipe threading, cutting and fitting, under supervision to ensure precise system assembly.
  • Read and interpret construction drawings, schematics, and blueprints to aid in accurate installation processes.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on HVAC systems, plumbing, fire sprinkler and related mechanical equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols on-site.
