About The Position

Responsible for the daily ordering and processing of all HVAC parts. They must understand the needs of and communicate with the managers and technicians in the Installation and Service Departments.

Requirements

High School Diploma or associate's degree
Minimum five years’ experience in HVAC industry as field technician or parts coordinator
Familiarity with HVAC parts and suppliers
Excellent organizational skills
Proficiency with computers and search engines
Strong verbal communication
Detail oriented and highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities
Top performer who can instill pride of workmanship in self and others
Highly motivated, flexible, and positive, professional demeanor

Responsibilities

Creates repair estimates for field technicians
Performs warehouse shipping and receiving
Research and orders parts from local vendors
Maintains a stock of spare HVAC parts
Quotes prices to managers
Manage backorders
Maintains warranty paperwork
Ensures invoices, shipment slips, and other billing issues are taken care of promptly
Orders the shipment of parts, when inventory is running low, to make sure they are on hand
Cooperates and shares information with Installation and Service Departments
Provides supports to field technicians by answering questions and providing documentation
Purchases tools for technicians
Oversee and facilitate returns using warrantee information
