About The Position

As a Service Engineer I, you will play a crucial role in the supporting of physical security systems, ensuring they meet the client’s specifications. Working collaboratively with clients and a multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to the seamless resolution of issues of security components while delivering excellent service.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of technical experience preferably in physical security systems.
  • Strong understanding of access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and related technologies.
  • Proficiency in system installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols and system integration.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proven customer service experience, with the ability to handle client interactions professionally and effectively.

  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Ability to read and understand instructions in English as well as possess good oral & written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues that arise during everyday use.
  • Adjust system settings and configurations to optimize performance and ensure seamless integration of all security components.
  • Complete and upload documentation per Prime standards before project launch and completion. Maintain various internal technical documentation and processes.
  • Collaborate with clients and project teams to provide updates and address any concerns or modifications needed. Provide end-users and technical staff with training on system operation and maintenance.
  • Work closely with service coordinators, engineers, and technicians to ensure smooth resolution of issues. Site visits as needed.
  • Participate in the afterhours on-call rotation.
  • Other duties as assigned.
