The Service and Engagement Team Leader role is designed to provide meaningful experiences that help team members build and develop skills for a career. A typical day involves delivering guest experience commitments, ensuring team members are trained and deliver on these commitments, observing and providing feedback, reviewing metrics to identify opportunities, demonstrating inclusivity, leading a team of Guest Advocates, Service Advocates, and Front of Store Attendants, and fostering a culture of executing best practices. The role also involves understanding sales goals, supporting loyalty programs, following up on training, engaging in development conversations, personalizing recognition, leading a culture of accountability, responding to guest concerns, ensuring team members are updated on promotions, evaluating candidates, supporting pick-up and drive-up orders, supporting guest services, demonstrating ethical conduct and compliance, leading a safety culture, and supporting merchandise protection strategies. Key carriers may also assume store-level leadership responsibilities and address emergency and compliance needs.
