About The Position
Service Electrician (Commercial / Industrial) needed in Montgomery County, PA. This role involves installing, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and upgrading electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.
Requirements
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Proficiency with tools
- Strong knowledge of NEC
- Strictly adhere to safety rules and regulations
- Familiar with a range of electrical systems from basic lighting to complex industrial equipment and automation controls (PLC,s)
- Able to lift heavy materials
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Nice To Haves
- Formal electrical schooling preferred
Responsibilities
- Installing wiring, conduits, fixtures and other electrical equipment
- Diagnosing and fixing electrical wiring, circuit breakers, panels, motors and other electrical issues
- Troubleshooting using test equipment and hand tools to identify and correct problems in electrical systems
- Upgrading electrical systems such as lighting, installing new panels to meet increased power
- Maintaining accurate records of service calls, work performed, and time spent on jobs
- Collaborating and coordinating with other contractors, team members
