About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Service Electrician to perform on-site electrical service, troubleshooting, and repairs for our residential and small commercial customers. The ideal candidate is hands-on, safety-minded, and capable of delivering high-quality workmanship on tight timelines.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
2+ years of verifiable experience in electrical service or residential/commercial electrical work.
Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety practices, and testing equipment (multimeters, megohm meters, etc.).
Excellent problem-solving, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills.
Good communication and customer-service skills; professional appearance and demeanor.
Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
Must be able to speak and understand English
Must be able to lift and carry tools and equipment; ability to work in varying conditions (attic/basement, heights, confined spaces).

Nice To Haves

Completion of an apprenticeship and valid electrician’s license preferred
OSHA-10 or equivalent safety training is a plus.

Responsibilities

Respond to service calls, diagnose electrical issues, and implement effective, code-compliant solutions.
Install, replace, and repair wiring, outlets, panel boards, breakers, lighting, and related electrical components.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in electrical systems and equipment.
Perform panel upgrades, grounding and bonding, and electrical code corrections.
Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
Ensure all work complies with national/state/local electrical codes and safety standards.
Document work performed, parts used, and time on service orders; communicate status to customers.
Provide clear explanations and recommendations to customers; obtain customer approval for non-emergency replacements and upgrades.
Maintain company vehicle, hand tools, and PPE; adhere to safety protocols and company policies.
Participate in after-hours/on-call rotation as required.
