About The Position

PCI is seeking a Service Desk & Facilities Coordinator who is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and has IT service desk experience, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach. This role provides on-site technical support for the Las Vegas office, processes and resolves service desk tickets, and offers remote technical co-support for other offices. Additionally, the role serves as the main point of contact for facilities-related concerns, vendor relationships, and building operations in the Las Vegas office. The position also involves identifying process improvements and collaborating with the Service Desk & Facilities Manager.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience and certification.
  • Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in a service desk, IT support, or facilities coordination role.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills for laptops, software, and IT systems.
  • Strong knowledge of IT service desk management tools and endpoint security practices.
  • Ability to serve as a liaison between employees, leadership, vendors, and the property management company on facilities matters, escalating budget and approval decisions to the Service Desk & Facilities Manager.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and active insurance for occasional work-related travel.
  • Must be in Southern NV and have reasonable commute to Las Vegas, NV due to in-office requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant certifications such as ITIL, Microsoft 365, or Active Directory.
  • Experience supporting capital project coordination, space planning, or building renovations in a liaison capacity.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience using systems such as Active Directory, Confluence, Duo, Jira Service Desk, Office 365, PDQ, and Zoom.
  • Experience supporting both IT and facilities functions within a single role.

Responsibilities

  • Provides on-site technical support for the Las Vegas office during core business hours, including hardware and software troubleshooting, laptop configuration, and general maintenance for approximately 50+ local employees.
  • Processes and resolves service desk tickets based on overall business needs and priority, applying advanced troubleshooting techniques to minimize downtime and support user productivity.
  • Provides remote technical co-support for employees in the St. Cloud, MN office and remote/home-office environments, ensuring reliable hardware and software functionality.
  • Deploys and manages software installations, updates, and patches using tools such as PDQ and SmartDeploy.
  • Prepares and deploys laptops for new team members, providing basic technology onboarding and training on IT systems and tools.
  • Participates in an on-call support rotation to provide after-hours technical support as needed.
  • Serves as the main point of contact for facilities-related concerns and dealings at the Las Vegas office, supporting smooth day-to-day building operations.
  • Serves as the core point of contact for Las Vegas vendor relationships and acts as the liaison between the property management company and PCI on building and facility needs, including custodial, repair, HVAC/mechanical, safety and security, and capital project or renovation needs, communicating budget and approval decisions from the Service Desk & Facilities Manager.
  • Receives and relays building issues and emergencies to the Service Desk & Facilities Manager, helping evaluate the condition of the facility, including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and environmental systems.
  • Maintains a working understanding of PCI's security alarm system and serves as a primary point of contact for related calls or alarms as needed.
  • Controls building access and administers keys and entrance cards.
  • Identifies process improvements to enhance service desk and facilities support efficiency.
  • Collaborates closely with the Service Desk & Facilities Manager to ensure alignment on facilities decisions and priorities, escalating budget, vendor, and other approval decisions appropriately.
