About The Position

Pool and Spa Depot is looking to hire a Service Department Manager to be based at our La Vergne, TN headquarters. The Service Department Manager will lead the day-to-day operations of the In-House Service Department, ensuring efficiency while maintaining the highest level of customer service and satisfaction.

Requirements

Previous experience in a service role.
Current and valid Driver's License.
Demonstrated experience supervising, leading, and motivating a team.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) and/or Google Docs.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Acute attention to detail.
Willing to work overtime as needed, including Saturdays.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience with swimming pool equipment, maintenance, and repair preferred.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, and install pool-related equipment such as safety pool covers, safety fences, etc. for residential and commercial customers.
Explain and schedule pool openings, pool closings, and routine pool maintenance.
Handle customer calls in a customer service-focused manner.
Provide repair and service quotes for customers.
Coordinate service technicians, including scheduling and assigning daily tasks.
Provide timely resolution of customer complaints, concerns, and inquiries.
Maintain a working knowledge of all products and services.
Support ongoing learning, training, and development of the team.
Maintain strong communication with ownership and leadership.
Manage a team of 5–10 employees, including timekeeping and disciplinary actions.
Interview, hire, and train new staff.
Attend management meetings and provide department updates.
