About The Position

DH Pace Company, Inc. is seeking a Service Manager to oversee equipment, service, and installation technicians. This role is hands-on, leading commercial service and installation operations with significant customer interaction. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, highly organized, and possesses strong mechanical aptitude.

Requirements

  • Minimum two (2) years of work experience, preferably with supervisory or managerial responsibilities.
  • Experience in a commercial building products and materials company that fixes/repairs/installs equipment/products is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Highly organized.
  • Good mechanical aptitude.
  • Valid Driver’s License and good driving record.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage department budget and P&L, controlling labor and material costs.
  • Manage and assist with employee/job scheduling and dispatching.
  • Provide technical/mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving assistance.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to ensure high-quality service.
  • Develop, train, and hire technicians, administrative personnel, and management trainees.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
