About The Position

BBH is seeking sharp minds and bold thinkers for its 2027 Service Delivery Summer Internship program. This 10-week immersive experience offers a pathway to real-world operations, transformation, and technology within global banking. The program is designed to identify future hires and leaders, providing hands-on learning in meaningful projects within the Investor Services Service Delivery division, mentorship from industry leaders, professional development through workshops and networking events, and a collaborative environment. Interns will have daily in-office presence to immerse themselves in the company culture and accelerate professional development. The program also includes opportunities for community impact through the BBHcares philanthropic program and connecting with fellow BBHers. Service Delivery is the operational engine behind BBH's global banking services, offering interns a unique perspective on service excellence, transformation, data and technology utilization, and driving business outcomes.

Requirements

  • Current junior in college, entering senior year in Fall 2027, with a background in and passion for Business, Innovation and Design, or Project Management.
  • Strong academic achievement as evidenced by a GPA of 3.3 or higher.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills through academic and extracurricular activities.
  • Outstanding communication skills, written and verbal; ability to explain technical issues in simple terms.
  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically, both independently and as part of a team.
  • Sound judgment and demonstrated ability to identify, escalate, and resolve problems.
  • Ability to prioritize competing demands and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to analyze business processes to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Experience or interest in working with large quantities of information for analysis.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint - comfortable using common formulas (e.g., VLOOKUP, IF), building basic charts, and creating/manipulating pivot tables for simple analysis.
  • Passion and intellectual curiosity for learning, and the use of generative AI tools.

Responsibilities

  • Join a dynamic team at the heart of global operations, partnering with business leaders to deliver insights and information to support internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Gain hands-on experience managing high-volume financial transactions with accuracy, efficiency, and a strong commitment to meeting critical deadlines.
  • Put analytical and problem-solving skills to work by investigating discrepancies, identifying root causes, and escalating findings when appropriate.
  • Build relationships across the business by communicating clearly and confidently with internal and external clients and counterparties to resolve issues and help minimize risk.
  • Learn what exceptional client service looks like in practice and contribute to the high-quality experience BBH delivers to clients around the world.
  • Share ideas to improve operational efficiency and individual productivity, contribute to department and BBH process improvement activities.
  • Take on specialized projects where you will work with large data sets, uncover meaningful insights, and help inform operational decisions.
  • Collaborate with fellow interns on a high-visibility team project and present recommendations to senior leaders.
