Service Delivery Lead

Akselos•Houston, TX

About The Position

The Service Delivery Lead (SDL) is the execution authority responsible for converting won software and services contracts into active enterprise deployments that generate customer value. Embedded within customer-facing strike teams, the SDL guides accounts from commercial sign-off through configuration and implementation to operations, applying engineering-led rigor and AI-driven automation to accelerate delivery and reduce time-to-value for strategic global clients. After deployment, the SDL manages operations of the deployed Structural Performance Management (SPM) instance, maintains active customer dialogue, and supports customer value realization. The role also leads automation initiatives to optimize deployment workflows for heavy-industry asset models and expand AI-assisted delivery practices.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years leading complex engineering software deployments in B2B SaaS, downstream or upstream energy, or heavy industrial simulation.
  • Proven ability to negotiate across Sales, Product, and Backend Engineering validation gates and deliver on schedule.
  • Agile expertise in managing deployment sprint cycles.
  • High comfort level with complex engineering applications, technical engineering information, and cloud-based data integrations.
  • Fluency in written and spoken Portuguese and English is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated interest or experience leveraging AI copilots, agentic scripts, or automated frameworks to scale productivity.

Nice To Haves

  • Spanish or other language skills.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Sales and Product Owners in value workshops to map the Configure & Install framework, identify technical paths, and prepare implementation plans with effort estimates.
  • Collaborate with subject-matter experts to define engineering scope boundaries and delivery timelines, optimize project resourcing, and prevent feature creep.
  • Coordinate with the PMO to align costs and effort with proposed commercial frameworks.
  • Own and execute the end-to-end Structural Performance Management (SPM) solution deployment lifecycle for strategic enterprise accounts.
  • Track project baselines and milestones, manage financial fulfillment, and resolve onboarding friction.
  • Partner with QA to ensure deployed instances pass user acceptance testing (UAT) and meet engineering standards.
  • Transition deployed solutions to Customer Enablement.
  • Manage post-deployment operations, monitor customer health, and advance Structural Digital Twin use cases.
  • Lead AI and Automation Strike Teams to optimize blueprinting paths for primary heavy-industry asset models, including piping, pipelines, cokers, reactors, and SMRs.
  • Embed agentic capabilities and expand AI-assisted workflows in routine deployment procedures.
