About The Position

At Tony's Fresh Market, LLC, we are looking for a Service Deli Clerk who will provide product suggestions and assist customers with special orders while delivering exceptional customer service. The role involves stocking cases to ensure a variety of high-quality deli items are available and maintaining complete compliance with food safety and sanitation requirements. Responsibilities include cleaning and sanitizing dishes, food preparation areas, and equipment.

Requirements

Highly organized with a keen sense of details.
Great listening and communication skills.
Can handle lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, and twisting while handling products or using various equipment.
Ability to shine in a fast-paced environment.
Must be 18 years or older for the Deli Clerk position.

Responsibilities

Greeting and building rapport with customers.
Display a friendly and outgoing attitude through good eye contact and body language.
Respond to customer questions in an effective manner.
Stock products and maintain product displays according to merchandising standards.
Basic department cleaning upkeep.
Follow safety and sanitation procedures to ensure quality service and products for our customers.
Assist customers with their orders for a variety of deli services.
Provide product suggestions and assist customers with special orders.
Must be comfortable working with a slicer and/or sharp objects to execute duties.
May perform other duties as assigned or required.
