Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school education preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be able to frequently lift, maneuver and/carry up to 50 pounds.
- Must have TB Clearance.
- Must comply with all company policies and requirements.
Nice To Haves
- Service deli, food handling/prep, customer service experience helpful.
Responsibilities
- Preparing, slicing, wrapping, weighing, pricing, and merchandising the department’s deli products (Deli products include deli meats, cheeses, salads, sandwiches, dips, gourmet and hot case items).
- Informing customers about our deli products and services.
- Helping to increase sales by handing out food samples and by recommending additional items to customers.
- Working with equipment like fryers and slicers and using store intercoms to announce special promotions and weekly specials.
