About The Position

The Service Counter Manager at Hugo's Family Marketplace is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the customer service desk, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. This role involves managing inquiries, coordinating with various departments, maintaining accurate records, and handling customer instances efficiently. The position requires a proactive approach to enhance customer satisfaction and streamline service processes within the store. Must be 18 + years or older to apply.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1–2 years in retail, cashier, or customer service roles
  • Experience handling cash, POS systems, or returns
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be 18 + years or older to apply.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, management, retail management, or a related field
  • Associate’s degree plus relevant supervisory experience
  • Previous office or customer service experience preferred
  • Familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Manage inventory and ensure stock levels are maintained.
  • Utilize POS systems and manage cash handling efficiently.
