About The Position

The Service Coordinator (Dispatcher) at Tech24 ensures efficient daily operations by scheduling and dispatching service technicians, prioritizing reactive service calls, and coordinating return visits. This role requires strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. You’ll serve as a key point of contact between technicians, customers, and internal teams—providing clear updates, maintaining accurate records, and supporting timesheet and invoice review to ensure timely, high-quality service delivery.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service, dispatching, project management, or a related field
  • Proficient computer and data entry skills
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Knowledge of service areas and route optimization skills
  • Advanced customer service skills
  • Strong multitasking ability

  • Working knowledge of the HVAC industry

Responsibilities

  • Dispatch service technicians to assigned service calls
  • Schedule and coordinate daily service appointments
  • Maintain dispatch schedules in Global Edge and Excel dispatch board
  • Debrief technicians following service calls and update service details
  • Forecast workload 2–3 days in advance to support resource planning
  • Follow up on open service calls and customer return visits
  • Confirm upcoming appointments with customers and provide status updates
  • Maintain accurate customer records and service database entries
  • Monitor and respond to incoming calls, emails, and after-hours messages
  • Coordinate with technicians and warehouse teams on parts availability and job readiness
  • Manage service quote logs and customer portals
  • Ensure calls are properly routed to on-call technicians
  • Support additional administrative and operational duties as needed
