About The Position

BearCom is the Largest Distributor of Wireless Voice, Data, and Video Solutions in North America with over 40 years of industry-leading experience and partnerships with major brands like Motorola, JVC Kenwood, and Avigilon. With over 75 branches across North America, BearCom is seeking a Service Coordinator to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for meeting customer expectations regarding quality, performance, timeliness, and effective communication. You will be working with complex wireless communication systems, including radio systems for public safety and enterprise customers. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be organized, self-motivated, customer service driven, reliable, and eager to learn. As the Service Coordinator, you will have direct interaction with the end customer, making a professional attitude and effective communication vital.

Requirements

2 years of proven relevant experience
Typing speed of 35 wpm, with experience in data entry.
Knowledge of procedures and guidelines for emergencies.
Proficient in English (oral and written).
Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities.
Must follow company procedures and assist with development and refining procedures as needed.
Must have computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Must be able to work under pressure and independently, and be able to meet deadlines for delivering quality solutions in a timely manner.
Must be an active listener with excellent communication skills
Must possess sound judgment and critical thinking.
Background checks are part of the hiring process, which may include a Motor Vehicle check.

Nice To Haves

Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

Receive emergency and non-emergency calls and record all significant information.
Address problems and requests by transmitting information to the appropriate resource or providing a solution.
Receive and schedule resources for trouble calls and service projects.
Use radio, phone, or computer to dispatch crews to appropriate locations.
Enter data into the computer system and maintain logs and records of calls, activities, and other relevant information.
Provide in-route and follow-up calls to customers as part of customer service.
Perform administrative and office clerical duties as assigned.
