Apply your expertise as a Service Center Coordinator in Vancouver, WA. The Service Center Coordinator is responsible for the administration of customer repair orders. Ensure orders meet specifications of the quotation and determine delivery schedule. Take necessary actions to meet customer’s committed delivery schedule. Expectations To excel in the role you will: Administer customer repair orders. Ensure orders meet specifications of the quotation and determine delivery schedule. Take necessary actions to meet customer’s committed delivery schedule. Provide cost and price data based on cost and market considerations. Independently prepare repair quotation for values up to $5,000 USD by determining past numbers, cost, sell price and availability of part and new unit replacement cost for comparison and submit to customer. Prepare quotations valued in excess of $5,000 USD and obtain required higher-level approval Review and monitor customer backlogs to assure accuracy and integrity of current promise dates or reschedules and communicate to customers Recommend for review and approval inventory required to support repair activity. Establish, maintain, and review inventory minimum, maximum and reorder levels based on repair product and activity. Assist with weekly inventory cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies Provide new valve and spare parts pricing to customers when requested. Interpret, explain, and ensure compliance with distributor and representative policy for repairs Communicate effectively with end customers to obtain orders, resolve questions and concerns, and satisfy customer needs. Convey responsive attitude toward customer requirements and concerns Place and administer purchase orders for inventory, supplies and services. Coordinate inter-shop inventory transfers with other service centers

Requirements

  • 1-3 years Field Service Valve Repair experience is a plus.
  • 1-3 years of experience in quotations development for service/repair may be considered as a substitute for valve repair experience.
  • A professional presence and demeanor in addition to excellent communication skills in order to interface at all organizational levels is essential.
  • Aptitude to learn
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is an asset.
  • Working knowledge of a Manufacturing Operating system such as Syspro, M3, SAP, or MFG Pro is an asset.
