About The Position

BMW of San Diego, a Penske Automotive Group dealership, is looking for a knowledgeable and friendly Service Concierge to join their dealership team and deliver extraordinary customer experiences. This role supports the service department by assisting customers with courtesy loaner and rental vehicles, as well as processing payments in a timely, friendly, and professional manner. The pay for this position is $18 per hour, plus bonus opportunity, with an expected annual pay of $43,000 - $48,000.

  • Experience in a customer service, retail or rental car company desired.

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers with courtesy loaner and rental vehicles.
  • Process payments in a timely, friendly, and professional manner.
  • Greet customers in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Assist in maintaining the loaner vehicle inventory.
  • Process service payments efficiently and accurately.
  • Ensure loaner and rental vehicles are checked out and returned according to company, third party, and manufacturer policies.
  • Maintain proper documentation and monitor vehicle condition and availability.
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with all dealership departments.
  • Accurately receive and record cash, check, and credit card payments.
  • Issue refunds as directed.
  • Reconcile and deposit funds.
  • File all associated paperwork.
  • Charge appropriately for any damage, tickets, or tolls associated with loaner vehicles.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal requirements.
