Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Possession of strong verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to perform repeated bending & lifting of up to 50lbs during certain procedures.
High School Diploma or equivalent with 4+ years of experience in facility maintenance
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship, for access to classified information; ability to obtain & maintain HSPD & Secret, preferred HSPD-12 & Secret Active.

Nice To Haves

Possess a Journeyman Electrician License, Journeyman HVAC license or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Responsible for ensuring that all electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment within the facilities is operating at peak efficiency. This involves both planned preventative maintenance of equipment, daily corrective work, and emergency response to emergent issues.
The technician serves as a technical resource reporting to a program manager, interacting with Onsite Engineering Operations (OEO).
They are expected to be heavily engaged in limited facility operations within the facility and to support operations in various capacities.
Utilizes safe working practices; can apply lockout/tagout, SDS, applies good housekeeping methods, etc.
Ability to type and utilize common administrative and office software.
Ability to use hand tools and ensures activities are logged in the tracking system for work orders.
Daily walk-through of facility documenting parameters such as meter readings, temperature, water and humidity, alarm status.
Ability to understand site-specific processes and procedures such as how to report an incident or outage, procedure execution, PM standards, Work Orders tracking system.
