About The Position

This is a full-time position in the Service Center Department at Elk City ACE Home Center. The role requires excellent customer service skills, including assisting customers with their needs, performing various assembly and repair tasks, and maintaining the department's organization and cleanliness. Secondary functions include assisting customers with loading merchandise, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean and safe shopping environment.

Requirements

Ability to work flexible hours; including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Knowledge and usage of products and equipment.
Good math skills.
Ability to read a tape measure.
Good physical condition for lifting.

Nice To Haves

H.S. Diploma or G.E.D. is preferred.
STIHL training is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by helping customers find what they need in a professional and courteous manner.
Assist with tool and grill assembly and tool repairs.
Cut keys and re-key locks.
Measure and cut rope, wire, and chain.
Cut glass and plexiglass.
Re-sharpen chainsaw blades.
Build replacement window screens.
Maintain, organize, and clean the Service Center Department.
Provide small engine quotes and repairs, where applicable.
Help load merchandise for customers.
Help order merchandise.
Clean and straighten fixtures and merchandise.
Keep aisles and floors clear of obstructions.
Stock shelves.
Check in freight.
Answer the telephone.
