About The Position

Sapp Bros is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join their team in Tocquerville, Utah. This role is responsible for delivering excellent customer service by greeting customers, assisting with vehicle service needs, and managing service tickets in a fast-paced diesel maintenance environment. This position plays a key role in ensuring a smooth, efficient service experience for both customers and the shop team.

Requirements

• Strong typing skills and the ability to work with computer applications.
• A valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Ability to perform basic math and use an adding machine.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent (preferred).
• At least 1 year of previous experience in a service advisor or service writer role (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, courteous customer service and build strong relationships
• Manage the service process from initial customer contact through completion
• Write and oversee work orders, ensuring accuracy and timely follow-up
• Assign work to technicians and monitor progress to meet deadlines
• Handle incoming calls and customer inquiries efficiently
• Assist with parts, inventory, and over-the-counter sales
• Support fleet account customers as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Follow all safety procedures, including lock-out/tag-out compliance
