John Hiester Automotive is currently seeking a full-time Service Business Development Representative to join our willing team! Requirements

  • Strong writing skills for writing business correspondence
  • Strong time management, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Team-oriented and positive attitude with high energy personality
  • Professional appearance and attitude required, and must be reliable
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel or Google Docs and Sheets
  • Must have a valid U.S driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Strong communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in customer service recommended

Responsibilities

  • Schedule incoming service appointment queries by phone, email or chat by scheduling appointments, confirming pending appointments, following up with missed appointments and finding the answer for any of their questions
  • Interact with customers to identify their individual needs and actively documents customer concerns with their vehicle and case notes
  • Confirm pending appointments with customers and follow up with missed appointments
  • Respond to all incoming online email leads and phone leads in a professional, well-spoken and timely manner
  • Generate and schedule appointments by means of proactive outbound prospecting and lead activity management to qualify and market to potential customers
  • Complete phone calls as assigned by the Business Development Manager
  • Direct customers to product information resources, including those available online
  • Ensure service lead opportunities are accounted for and appropriate, accurate notes are typed into the Customer Relationship Management software
  • Deliver inquiries and messages intended for other personnel and departments promptly
  • Communicate effectively with service and parts personnel in order to assist customers interested in servicing their vehicle
  • Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly goals and objectives set by management
  • Work with customers in a professional, well-spoken manner
