Service Bartender
About The Position
We are the Premier City Club in Downtown Pittsburgh hosting the region’s most interesting thinkers and innovative leaders in business, industry, finance, politics, education, philanthropy, law, medicine, and the arts. We are looking to hire a SERVICE BARTENDER. Hours would be for evening shifts with an occasional daylight shift when business demands. A higher wage is represented since this is a non-tipped position. One must be professional, friendly, engaging and helpful at all times providing a memorable experience for all. The goal of the Club is to work together as a team so that our members receive impeccable service. One should be knowledgeable in liquor, wine and spirits.
Requirements
- Professional, friendly, engaging and helpful at all times
- Knowledgeable in liquor, wine and spirits
- Familiar with liquor laws
- Mobility and dexterity to bend, stoop, grasp, reach, twist, etc.
- Ability to stand during the entire shift
- Physical strength and capability to manually push, lift and transport items approximately 50 pounds (lifting) and 100 pounds (pushing)
Nice To Haves
- RAMP certification
Responsibilities
- Preparing drink requests
- Stocking/setting up bar
- Keeping bar area clean and free of spills
- Assisting with inventory
