About The Position

Jim Pattison Collision & Glass is seeking a dependable, hands-on Collision Service Attendant to maintain the cleanliness and organization of repaired vehicles before they are returned to customers. This role is suited for individuals who take pride in their work, pay attention to detail, and enjoy working with vehicles. The attendant will support the collision repair team by preparing vehicles for delivery, safely moving vehicles within the facility, maintaining the work area, and ensuring vehicles are presented in excellent condition.

Requirements

A valid Manitoba driver's licence and satisfactory driver's abstract.
The ability to follow directions, manage priorities, and work independently when required.
A dependable attendance record and a positive attitude.
A professional approach when working with customer property.

Nice To Haves

The ability to drive both automatic and manual-transmission vehicles is preferred.
Previous experience in automotive detailing, a dealership, collision repair, or a similar environment is an asset.
A strong eye for cleanliness and presentation.

Responsibilities

Washing and cleaning vehicles after body and paint work.
Vacuuming and cleaning vehicle interiors.
Completing final detailing and presentation work before delivery.
Checking vehicles after cleaning and bringing any visible issues or concerns to the attention of the appropriate team member.
Driving and positioning vehicles within the shop, yard, storage areas, and delivery areas.
Taking appropriate care when handling customer vehicles and company equipment.
Keeping detailing supplies, tools, and work areas clean and organized.
Following safe procedures when using cleaning chemicals, equipment, and other shop tools.
Protecting customer information and treating vehicle information confidentially.
Working cooperatively with technicians, estimators, management, and other members of the collision team.
Helping with other day-to-day tasks that support the operation of the body shop.
