About The Position

Perform cleaning functions in assigned areas following established schedules and using prescribed methods. This includes dry mopping floors, vacuuming baseboards, and damp mopping where needed. The role also involves keeping storage closets and cleaning carts clean and orderly, demonstrating proper use of wall washing equipment, and assisting in cleaning emergency spills. The Service Associate will observe and report the need for maintenance repairs, establish and maintain good patient relations, and report patient requests to nursing personnel. They must demonstrate knowledge of proper use of cleaning chemicals and follow specific instructions and procedures for cleaning isolation or contaminated rooms and areas, including using Universal Precautions in all contact with patients' blood and body fluids.
