About The Position

Nelbud is seeking an experienced field operations leader to oversee Service Managers and Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning Technicians throughout the New York City market. This leadership role is responsible for managing Service Managers and field technicians while ensuring safe, efficient, and profitable operations. We're looking for someone who enjoys coaching teams, solving operational challenges, and building a culture of accountability and safety.

Requirements

Previous experience managing field technicians or mobile workforce teams is required.
Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and team performance
Experience with scheduling, payroll, employee development, and performance management.
Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
Ability to travel throughout the New York City market.
This position primarily works daytime hours but must remain flexible to support evening and overnight field operations as business needs require.
Minimum of 3 years of driving experience.
Must be at least 20 years old.

Nice To Haves

Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning experience is a plus, but not required.
FDNY Certificate of Fitness (W64 or P64) is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead Service Managers and Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning Technicians across the New York City market, providing leadership, coaching, and operational support.
Drive safety, quality, and operational excellence across multiple crews.
Coach, mentor, hire, train, and develop employees.
Manage scheduling, payroll, performance, and employee relations.
Monitor productivity, labor costs, and profitability.
Visit job sites to support crews and ensure customer satisfaction.
Partner with Regional Leadership to achieve operational goals.
Maintain a strong safety-first culture.
