About The Position
Sentinel Dock & Door Solutions is one of Canada’s fastest-growing providers of commercial dock and door services. Pro-Door, part of the Sentinel group, is looking for a Service Apprentice, Technician who are the driving force behind our success. We’re looking for skilled, dedicated individuals to join our growing team.
Requirements
- Clean, valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Strong mechanical aptitude and confidence using hand and power tools
- Comfortable working at heights
- Positive attitude and a team-first mindset
Nice To Haves
- Experience with loading docks and commercial overhead doors
- Welding or millwright experience
Responsibilities
- Assist Lead technicians with repairs and maintenance of overhead doors and loading dock equipment
- Accurately complete work orders, inspection forms, and capture site photos for documentation
- Maintain tools, equipment, and PPE to ensure readiness and compliance
- Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a safe, professional work environment
- Deliver outstanding customer service while representing the company on-site
