Blossman Gas is seeking a Service Apprentice for its growing location in Anderson, SC. This role offers a defined career path with training opportunities, leading to Service Technician, Senior Service Technician, and Master Technician status. The Service Apprentice will assist in installing propane tanks and servicing gas comfort equipment, learning hands-on from experienced technicians and through classroom and online learning. This position is ideal for individuals with mechanical aptitude who enjoy local work and seek a service-related career.

Requirements

Mechanical aptitude.

Some prior mechanical work.
Use of hand tools.

Nice To Haves

Qualified Gas Service Technician.
CDL with hazmat endorsement (for Service Technician level).

Responsibilities

Install propane tanks for residential and commercial customers.
Install, service, and maintain gas comfort equipment such as water heaters, dryers, ranges/stoves, fireplaces, and generators.
Learn 'hands-on' the work performed by Service Technicians.
Participate in classroom and online learning to gain knowledge and experience.
Provide customer service.
Be a contributing member of a team environment.
Adhere to a strong commitment to safety, consistent with company policy.
