About The Position

Milnes Ford is looking for an entry level Apprentice Technician to join our growing team! The right candidate should have a strong interest in building a career in the Automotive industry through hands on experience and online training within Ford Motor Company. Milnes Ford is a family-owned and operated dealership since 2005. We're an extremely busy shop and seeking a Full-time Service Technician Apprentice to help keep up with demand. Milnes Ford is customer-focused and team-oriented which drives the performance of our Service Department by developing and retaining great talent and creating an exceptional service experience for our customers. Requirements

Automotive experience or technical training preferred, but not required.
Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
Dependable, hardworking, and team-oriented.
Ability to follow instructions and work safely.
Basic computer skills.
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

Assist technicians with vehicle inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
Perform basic services such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and inspections.
Assist with diagnostic testing and troubleshooting.
Learn and follow Ford service and repair procedures.
Properly use hand tools, shop equipment, and diagnostic equipment.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Participate in ongoing training and technical development.
Follow dealership safety and quality standards.
