About The Position

The Service and Sales Representative (SSR) delivers high-quality service to members while supporting a broad range of branch operations, including account servicing, transaction processing, and issue resolution. This role requires strong technical aptitude, the ability to learn quickly, and sound judgment when managing member needs and operational priorities. The SSR also serves as a trusted resource within the branch and may support day-to-day operations in the absence of leadership. You will support members with everyday banking needs while identifying opportunities to enhance their financial well-being. With comprehensive training provided, this position is designed as a foundational entry point into the banking industry, offering the opportunity to develop essential skills and grow into advanced roles within the organization.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree with 1-3 years of experience, 3-5 years of experience in lieu of a degree
  • Obtain notary license within 1 year of acceptance of role.
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn and navigate multiple systems simultaneously.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a role with a steep learning curve and high volume of information.
  • Sound judgment and confidence in making day-to-day decisions.
  • Professional presence with the ability to effectively serve members.
  • Positive, team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support branch needs as they arise.
  • High level of ownership and accountability for work and member outcomes.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite programs and standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines, PCs, etc.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors degree preferred.
  • Spanish Speaking preferred.
  • Previous experience in customer service, retail, banking or financial services industry.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional, personalized service to members, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and professionalism in every interaction
  • Support a full range of branch transactions, account maintenance, and member service needs
  • Navigate and operate across multiple systems to complete transactions, research issues, and resolve member inquiries
  • Balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Act as a knowledgeable resource for teammates and step in to support branch operations in the absence of leadership
  • Identify member needs and connect them to appropriate products, services, or internal partners
  • Maintain compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
