Responsibilities

  • Greets customers upon arrival in the maintenance area.
  • Listens attentively to customer vehicle concerns and conducts thorough inspections.
  • Proactively checks for recalls.
  • Retrieves crucial vehicle information (mileage, VIN).
  • Maintains customer rapport by explaining estimates and providing daily updates.
  • Submits documentation for warranty repair orders.
  • Handles customer relations on a per-need basis.
  • Verifies warranty and service contract coverage.
  • Prepares detailed repair orders, describing symptoms, problems, causes, and required repairs.
  • Obtains necessary approval signatures.
  • Enters repair orders into the service database system.
  • Monitors repair work to ensure timely completion.
  • Reviews completed jobs.
  • Collects payments.
  • Efficiently closes out service orders.
