About The Position

As a Service Advisor, you are the vital link between our customers and our service technicians. You’ll play a critical role in the customer journey—turning technical vehicle needs into clear, honest solutions and building lasting relationships within our community. Your goal is to ensure every guest receives expert guidance while helping our shop run at peak efficiency. For over 85 years, Hunter Automotive Group has proudly served Western North Carolina. Requirements

  • 1–3 years in customer service, retail, hospitality, or an automotive role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple repair orders simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive, team-oriented approach with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a commitment to absolute honesty.
  • A general understanding or interest in vehicle mechanics is helpful, but not required (we will train you!).

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Service Advisor experience is a plus, but a great attitude is our priority!

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly, listen actively to their vehicle concerns, and provide expert advice on maintenance and repair needs.
  • Schedule and manage service appointments to ensure a smooth shop workflow and minimal wait times for our guests.
  • Collaborate closely with our skilled technicians to accurately understand vehicle issues and explain recommended repairs clearly to customers.
  • Keep customers proactively informed on their vehicle's status, repair timelines, and any cost updates.
  • Follow up with customers post-service to ensure total satisfaction and maintain long-term loyalty.
