Requirements

  • Dealership experience with a strong background in auto service or as a service technician.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally.
  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining a professional demeanor.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy dealership environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in auto estimating, service writing, and automotive repair sales is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with automotive repair processes such as alignment procedures, shocks & struts replacement, air brake systems, and auto sales techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly, listen carefully to their vehicle concerns, and accurately document their needs.
  • Explain recommended interval services clearly, including auto diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance procedures such as oil changes, brake repairs, alignments, suspension work, tire services, transmission repairs, diesel engine repairs, shocks & struts, air brake systems, and auto body repairs.
  • Prepare detailed auto estimates using dealership systems and communicate options effectively to customers.
  • Up sell additional services and maintenance packages that enhance vehicle performance and safety while meeting customer needs.
  • Coordinate with the Service Manager and Dispatch to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of service work.
  • Handle customer inquiries professionally, providing daily updates on vehicle status and ensuring satisfaction throughout the service process.
  • Along with our cashier, manage cash handling responsibilities accurately while maintaining confidentiality and integrity.
