Requirements

  • Must submit to a background and drug screen
  • Maintain a valid Georgia driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Exceptional customer service
  • High level of detail orientation and accuracy
  • Proven experience working within a team environment

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers on the lane and perform a walk-around of the vehicle upon arrival.
  • Acknowledge automotive problems and services needed by listening to the customer’s description of symptoms; clarify description of problems; conduct vehicle inspection with the customer; take test drives when needed; check vehicle maintenance records; answer service calls and schedule appointments when needed
  • Prepare repair orders by describing symptoms, problems, and causes discovered as well as repairs and services required; obtain approval signatures and enter repair orders into the Reynolds & Reynolds system correctly and promptly..
  • Establish and maintain customer relations by explaining estimates and expected completion time; obtain customer’s approval of estimates and repairs; record contact information; answer questions and concerns that arise; arrange towing and temporary transportation as needed.
  • Verify warranty and service contract coverage; explain provisions and exclusions in detail to customers.
  • Develop estimates by costing materials, supplies and labor; calculate customer’s payment, including deductibles.
  • Maintain vehicle records by recording service and repairs.
  • Update job and product knowledge as required by Hennessy or the manufacturer.
  • Communicate professionally and provide updates on customer repairs as needed to technicians and the parts department.
