About The Position
Glenoak Ford requires a results-oriented Service Advisor to join our quality team. This is a full-time, union position located in our brand new, state-of-the-art facility in Langford, BC.
Requirements
- Previous customer service experience required
- Valid class 5 driver’s license required
- Intermediate computer skills required
- Excellent phone manner required
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills required
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in automotive service environment is an asset but not required
- General knowledge of parts and basic automotive repair procedures preferred
Responsibilities
- Manages customer requests for maintenance and repairs
- Provides excellent customer service
- Writes repair orders
- Communicates with customers about the status of work
- Collects payment for services, accurately handling cash and credit payments
- Sells additional services, including parts and accessories where appropriate
