About The Position

Professional, experienced Service Advisor needed to join our elite team at Sunset Automotive Group, a locally and family-owned company of new car dealerships with 10 brands at 11 locations across Sarasota and Manatee counties. Experience advising automotive service customers and developing relationships with new and existing customers required. Reynolds & Reynolds and x-time experience very helpful. Service Advisors are the faces of our dealership service departments to our valued service clients. It is vital for a person in this position to have great communication skills as well as solid automotive knowledge in order to adequately relay service needs between our valued clients and our service team.

Requirements

Service Advisors with Sunset Automotive Group are required to hold to our company values of honesty, integrity, and outstanding customer service.
Must be approachable, helpful, and have outstanding customer service skills.
Strong automotive knowledge and experience required.

Nice To Haves

Experience advising automotive service customers and developing relationships with new and existing customers required.
Reynolds & Reynolds and x-time experience very helpful.
Experience with Reynolds & Reynolds and x-time preferred.
Experience with luxury vehicle clients helpful.

Responsibilities

As the first point of contact for automotive service customers, show outstanding customer service.
Use active listening to engage and understand the customer's vehicle issues and concerns.
Create repair order and communicate vehicle needs clearly to service technician.
Communicate vehicle diagnoses and maintenance needs to customer. Advise and sell needed work.
Follow up on vehicles throughout the repair process, keeping customer updated.
Interact with customers, vendors, and technicians in a professional manner at all times.
