About The Position

We're hiring a LATE EVENING SHIFT Service Advisor to join our team at Sunset Ford. SHIFT HOURS = 3:30pm to 11:59pm Midnight Monday - Friday Base wage of $52,000 plus commissions. Requirements

  • Service Advisor / Automotive Experience Required
  • Valid Driver's license and clean driving record
  • Able to work efficiently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent computer and typing skills
  • Organized
  • Enjoy talking to people
  • Customer handling skills
  • Technology / Bluetooth phone savvy

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and assist them with any inquiries.
  • Consult with customers on applicable service specials and present service menus
  • Document services declined and ask for follow-up on future service considerations
  • Keep customer informed on completion times, service expenses, and possible changes
  • Create and present repair estimates, dictating immediately needed services and future needed services
  • Remain involved with delivery of vehicle to customer upon completion to assure all customer concerns are addressed
  • Provide concierge support for all owner inquiries, whether by phone or in person, to assure the customer has a positive service experience
  • Build strong relationships with the customers
  • Hold Technician staff accountable to safe and honest repairs to uphold quality
  • Close and Lock up building when shift is complete
